About Me
Hi! My name is Cynthia, and I am a User Experience Designer and Researcher with about 8 years of experience. I love using my problem solving skills to create smooth and wonderfully easy-to-use experiences.
One of the most satisfying parts of my work is being able to discover the users’ real needs, come up with solutions that will address their needs, and then determine if the solutions actually improve the users’ experience. Sometimes it can be tricky, especially when considering business requirements and technical constraints, but challenges can be fun!
I discovered the field of user experience while I was working on my Human Factors and Applied Cognition M.A. from George Mason University and have loved the concept of applying psychology to improve human interaction with technology ever since.
In my free time I enjoy board games, biking, hiking, reading (especially fantasy, science fiction, and comics!), and learning how to play the French horn.
